The Oyo State Government, in collaboration with the World Bank BESDA program, successfully renovated a 3-block classroom in Lagelu Local Government. Completed in two months, the project upgraded infrastructure with structural reinforcements, new roofing, flooring, windows, doors, and furniture to modern standards.
Following inspection by state officials and World Bank monitors, the facility was rated the best in the local government and officially commissioned. This initiative has greatly improved the learning environment, boosted community morale, and set a benchmark for educational infrastructure, highlighting the impact of public-private partnerships in education.
